Windows 11 & Microsoft Office – Installation, Configuration & Licensing Disclaimer

At TOTALPC, we provide technical services related to the installation, configuration, driver installation, system optimization, and activation of legally licensed Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11 Home and Pro editions.

Microsoft Windows Licensing

The customer is solely responsible for providing and maintaining a valid and legally acquired Microsoft Windows license.

For Windows Enterprise, Windows Server, Volume Licensing (VLK), or other organizational Microsoft licensing models, the customer must provide valid authorization and the necessary credentials, including, where applicable, a username, password, domain, organization account, or other authorized access required to activate or manage the respective license.

TOTALPC does not provide, sell, generate, bypass, circumvent, or otherwise provide unauthorized Microsoft license keys or activation methods.

Microsoft Windows is proprietary software owned and licensed by Microsoft Corporation. The installation and technical configuration of the operating system by TOTALPC does not transfer any ownership or licensing rights to the customer beyond those granted under the applicable Microsoft license terms.

Microsoft Account

The customer is solely responsible for their Microsoft Account, including account credentials, password, recovery methods, security verification, two-factor authentication, registered devices, and access to Microsoft services.

TOTALPC does not have access to, control over, or authority to recover or modify a customer's Microsoft Account.

If the customer cannot access their Microsoft Account, the customer must contact official Microsoft Support and follow Microsoft's account-recovery procedures.

TOTALPC does not guarantee the recovery of a Microsoft Account or access to Microsoft services.

BitLocker Encryption & Data Recovery

If a computer or laptop is protected by BitLocker encryption, access to the encrypted data may depend on the availability of the appropriate BitLocker recovery key or other authorized recovery credentials.

If the device is not properly associated with the customer's Microsoft Account, organization account, or other authorized recovery system, and the required BitLocker recovery key is unavailable, TOTALPC cannot bypass or circumvent BitLocker encryption.

TOTALPC cannot guarantee access to, or recovery of, data stored on a BitLocker-encrypted drive when the required recovery credentials are unavailable.

If the data cannot be recovered through legitimate and authorized means, TOTALPC may offer a clean installation of Windows 11 Home or Pro, provided that the customer has a valid license for the applicable edition.

A clean installation may result in the permanent loss of data stored on the affected drive. Customers are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of their data.

Microsoft Office & Microsoft 365

TOTALPC may perform the installation of Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 where technically applicable and where the customer has a valid Microsoft license or subscription.

However, TOTALPC does not provide Microsoft account administration, Microsoft 365 account recovery, license recovery, subscription management, or authorization of Microsoft services.

For issues concerning Microsoft 365 subscriptions, Microsoft accounts, product licensing, activation servers, organizational accounts, Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, or other Microsoft cloud services, customers should contact their Microsoft 365 administrator or official Microsoft Support.

Technical Support

TOTALPC provides technical assistance with the installation and configuration of software on the customer's computer.

TOTALPC is not the developer, publisher, licensor, or owner of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, or Microsoft 365. Consequently, TOTALPC cannot be held responsible for changes to Microsoft's licensing policies, activation systems, account policies, cloud services, security requirements, software updates, service availability, or other services controlled by Microsoft.

Customer Responsibility

By requesting installation or configuration of Microsoft software, the customer confirms that they have the legal right to use the relevant Microsoft software and that they are responsible for complying with all applicable Microsoft licensing terms, EULA (End User License Agreement), subscription conditions, and other applicable terms imposed by Microsoft.

The customer is also responsible for providing accurate licensing information and any credentials required for legitimate installation, activation, or administration of the software.

TOTALPC reserves the right to refuse any request involving unauthorized activation, circumvention of licensing restrictions, bypassing security mechanisms, or any other activity that would violate applicable law or Microsoft's licensing terms.

TOTALPC provides technical services only. Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, BitLocker, and related services remain the property and/or trademarks of Microsoft Corporation and are subject to Microsoft's applicable licensing and service terms.

For matters concerning Microsoft accounts, licensing, subscriptions, activation problems, BitLocker recovery keys, Microsoft 365 administration, or Microsoft cloud services, the final authority is Microsoft and/or the customer's authorized Microsoft administrator.
